Over the last month, Alfa Romeo has been releasing several updates for the new Giulia Quadrifoglio. In this article, we take a look at exactly what it is that Alfa Romeo has altered within the ECU software.

Changed from 35,000km (21,748 miles) down to 16,000km (9,942 miles)
Oil soot algorithm correction map
- Minor adjustments to the model to calculate soot content in oil for degradation calculation.
Maximum threshold for gas pedal transition for oil life manual reset
- Adjusted to work from 1%-98.9% to 40%-50%.
Time threshold (pedal pressed) for oil life manual Reset
- Changed from 30 seconds to 10 seconds.
Max. perm. deviation of the desired position of the exhaust camshaft to reference pos. of fine adaptation
- 255 Grad KW to 1 Grad KW
Max. perm. deviation of the desired position of the intake camshaft to reference pos. of fine adaptation
- Reduced from 920rpm to 850rpm.
